Wimbledon station taxi
Wimbledon station is one of south London's biggest hubs, with South Western Railway, Thameslink, the District line and the tram all meeting there. It is busy from early morning to late at night, and the road outside on the Broadway is tight for stopping.
We pick up and drop off as near to the station as the rules allow. Tell us your train time, and the driver will call to confirm the meeting point.
The Broadway and the town centre
The Broadway runs east from the station, with the Centre Court shopping centre, the theatre and plenty of restaurants. In the evening it is lively, and a booked car is the easy way home. Tell us the venue and the driver will stop at a safe spot nearby.
Wimbledon Village cab
Wimbledon Hill Road climbs steeply from the station to the Village, with its boutiques, cafés and old pubs around the High Street. Further on lies Wimbledon Common, with the windmill and miles of paths. We drop off and collect anywhere in the Village and at the edges of the Common.
Wimbledon tennis taxi
For two weeks every summer, the Championships bring huge crowds to the All England Club on Church Road. Roads around the grounds close or move slowly, and the queue for the trains is long.
If you have tickets, book early and tell us. We drop you as close as the road restrictions allow and agree a collection point for the evening. Allow extra time, because traffic across the area is heavy throughout the fortnight.
Wimbledon to Kingston taxi
Kingston is about four miles from Wimbledon, along the A3 or through Coombe. Wimbledon residents book us for shopping in Kingston, appointments at Kingston Hospital and trips to Richmond Park. A fixed fare means no surprises.
Longer journeys from SW19
Wimbledon is close to the A3, which makes airport runs easy. Our Kingston to Heathrow Airport taxi and London City Airport cabs from Kingston both collect in Wimbledon. For trains, the London Bridge taxi from Kingston runs east along the south bank.
