Richmond station taxi
Richmond station is a big interchange, with South Western Railway trains to Waterloo, the District line and the London Overground. It is busy at all hours, and the roads outside on the Quadrant are tight for stopping.
We pick up and drop off as close to the station as the rules allow, and the driver will call to confirm the spot. A booked car is ideal for late arrivals, early departures and anyone carrying luggage up the hill.
George Street and the town centre
George Street and Hill Street form Richmond's main shopping area, with the Green and the riverside just behind them. In the evening, restaurants and pubs fill up, and parking is close to impossible. A pre-booked cab drops you in town and takes you home at the end of the night.
Richmond Hill and the Terrace
Richmond Hill climbs from the town to the famous view from the Terrace over the Thames, with the Richmond Gate of Richmond Park at the top. Many hotels and wedding venues sit along the hill. Our hotel transfer taxi carries guests between them and the station.
Kew Gardens cab
Kew is just north of Richmond, and the Royal Botanic Gardens draw visitors all year. We drop off and collect at the main gates on Kew Road, which saves the walk from the station and the parking hunt in summer.
Richmond to Kingston taxi
The road between Richmond and Kingston runs along Petersham Road through Ham, or across Richmond Park when it is open to traffic. Richmond residents book us for Kingston shopping, appointments at Kingston Hospital and trips to the riverside. A fixed fare means the price stays put whichever way the traffic sends us.
Longer journeys from Richmond
Richmond sits on the A316, which leads straight to the M3 and is a quick way west. Our Kingston to Heathrow Airport taxi collects across Richmond, and the Luton Airport taxi from Kingston uses the M25 from here. For trains to the west, the Kingston to Paddington minicab is a natural route through Chiswick.

Richmond Park gates
Richmond Park has several gates, including the Richmond Gate at the top of the hill and the Sheen Gate to the east. We drop off and collect at any of them, which makes it easy to walk across the park one way and ride back the other.
