Airport Transfers from Kingston to Heathrow
Heathrow is roughly 11 miles from Kingston town centre. There is no direct train, so travelling by rail means heading into Richmond or Feltham and changing, usually with luggage on a crowded platform. A direct car avoids all of that and drops you at the kerb outside departures.
We plan each transfer around your flight, not just the clock. Long-haul airlines generally ask you to arrive about three hours before take-off, short-haul about two. We work back from that, add time for traffic on the A312 or the M25 and suggest a pickup that gets you there relaxed.
Airport Pickups Heathrow with Meet and Greet
Coming home is the part a booked car really helps with. Your driver tracks the flight number, so an early landing or a two-hour delay changes nothing for you. The price stays the same.
Ask for meet and greet and the driver waits in the arrivals hall of your terminal holding a board with your name. They help with the bags and walk you to the car. Without meet and greet, the driver calls once you land and tells you where to find them.

Heathrow Terminals We Cover
Heathrow has four passenger terminals, and they are spread across the airport. Always check which one you need the day before, because airlines do move.
Minicab to Heathrow Terminal 2
Terminal 2, also called the Queen's Terminal, hosts most Star Alliance airlines and others. It sits in the central terminal area alongside Terminal 3, reached through the tunnel under the northern runway. Drop-offs are on the upper departures level.
Transfer to Heathrow Terminal 3
Terminal 3 handles plenty of long-haul flights, including many oneworld carriers and Virgin Atlantic. The approach is shared with Terminal 2 until the final signs split.
Taxis to Heathrow Terminal 4
Terminal 4 is on the southern side of the airport, close to Hatton Cross, which makes it the quickest terminal to reach from Kingston. It serves a mix of airlines, including several SkyTeam and Middle Eastern carriers.
Taxi to Heathrow Terminal 5
Terminal 5 is the British Airways terminal on the western edge of the airport. Most drivers from Kingston reach it via the M25 at junction 14, which avoids the busy central roads.
Route, Time and Distance from Kingston
There are two common routes. The first crosses Kingston Bridge, runs through Hampton Wick and Hampton on the A308, then heads north on the A312 through Hanworth to the A30 at Hatton Cross. It is the most direct way to Terminal 4 and works well for the central terminals too.
The second uses the A308 to Sunbury Cross, then the M3 and the M25 to junction 14 for Terminal 5. On a clear road both take about 25 minutes. At peak times, especially Friday afternoons and the start of school holidays, allow 40 minutes or more. These are typical estimates, so treat them as a guide.
Heathrow charges vehicles that drop off at the terminal forecourts, and the whole area sits inside the ULEZ, so every car we send is a compliant licensed vehicle.
Why Kingston Is Well Placed for Heathrow
Few parts of London are as close to Heathrow by road as Kingston. The airport is only a few miles north-west, through Hampton and Hanworth, with no central London traffic in the way. That makes it ideal for early long-haul departures and late arrivals, when a short, direct drive matters most.
