Broad Street and the High Street
Teddington has two shopping streets. Broad Street runs from the station towards Bushy Park, with supermarkets, cafés and pubs, while the High Street heads towards the river with independent shops and restaurants. Both are busy in the evening.
Our drivers know where to pull in safely off both streets. Give us the restaurant or pub name, and the driver will call you on arrival so you are not waiting outside.
Teddington station taxi
Teddington station sits on the Kingston loop line, with South Western Railway trains to Waterloo via Richmond or Kingston. We meet trains here for commuters, late arrivals and anyone with luggage, and we drop off for early trains into town.
Teddington Lock and the riverside
Teddington Lock is where the tidal Thames ends, with its footbridges and weir drawing walkers and cyclists all year. If you have walked the towpath from Kingston or Richmond, a car back saves tired legs. We collect from the roads near the lock and take you home.
Bushy Park pickups
Bushy Park's Teddington Gate sits at the end of Park Road, and Chestnut Avenue runs through the middle towards Hampton Court. On a sunny weekend, families and dog walkers fill the park. We drop off and collect at the park gates, and our pet friendly taxi makes sure the driver is happy to take a muddy dog.
Getting to Kingston from Teddington
Kingston is about ten minutes away over Kingston Bridge. Teddington residents book us for shopping in Kingston, appointments at Kingston Hospital and nights out in the town. Coming back late is easy with a booked car.
Longer trips from TW11
Teddington's position on the Middlesex side of the river makes it a quick start for airport runs west. Our Kingston to Heathrow Airport taxi is a short trip from here. For trains, the Kingston to Paddington minicab heads north through Richmond.
